 Renee McKinney - Tap & Musical Theatre

 
Renee has a BFA in performing arts from Western Kentucky University.  Her professional performances include the off-Broadway cast of Cowgirls in California. As 'Mo' in that musical, Renee toured internationally.  Prior to that, Renee played 'Jeannie Coyne Kelly' in the production of Gene Kelly in Gainesville, Florida, ane 'Phyllis Dale' ad well as understudy to Peggy Sawyers in 42nd Street.  At the Cumberland County Playhouse, a professional theater in Tennessee, Renee has performed 'Minnie Fay' in Hello Dolly!, 'Potiphar's Wife' in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 'Erma' in Anything Goes, 'Frenchy' in Grease, 'Belle Shlumpfert' in Little Me, and 'Tzeitl' in Fiddler on the Roof, and 'Rumpleteaser' in Cats.  Renee has worked in the capacity of director and choreographer for the Cumberland County Playhouse in their 2003 production of Cats.  She played an evil troll in her film debut of Ernest Scared Stupid with Jim Varney.  Renee has taught dance for over ten years at a multitude of schools and studios throughout middle Tennessee.  She joined the FSPA faculty in 2001.
