Kaylee Cahoon has performed and taught across four continents with world renowned dance companies and artists such as Nikolais and Louis, Janis Brenner and Dancers, and the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Kaylee has choreographed for television, music videos, musical productions, professional theater, industrials, and was the 1993 recipient of the Tennessee Arts Commission Individual Artist Fellowship for Dance. She is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts and teaches teachers all over the country. In 2000, she was presented with the Outstanding Dance Educator Award for the state of Tennessee. Kaylee is a certified Pilates Instructor through Core Dynamics Pilates training program in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She teaches private lessons on the Pilates Apparatus at Pilates of Cool Springs. Kaylee is well known throughout Tennessee for her movement analysis and reeducation of movement patterns using concepts of physics, mechanical law, anatomy and physiology. Kaylee is presently a student in massage therapy school with the intentions of integrating myofascial release into her movement based teachings. Students of Kaylee's have gone on to dance in companies such as Tharp!, Boston Ballet, Tennessee Dance Theater, Core Movement Project, Yin Mei, Kansas City Ballet, and Nashville Ballet. Her students can also be found dancing on Broadway, television shows, cruise ships, and in theme parks and professional productions across the country.
